end of the year

So, It's almost the end of the year.
I just a half hour ago had my thesis defense here at CCS. It went really well, I got a lot of positive feedback and some good critique. It looks like I'm going to pass and everything. I really feel like I'm making a strong finish here at CCS. An image from one of my thesis pages was chosen to be on the post card about the thesis art show, which I already posted, and then a big poster of it was made and put up in the Colodny, here it is,
and here's me inside the Colodny happy/ or frightened to see my art so big.

My thesis comic will be available at MoCCA this June at the I Know Joe Kimpel table, and then on the website. I'm going to make some changes before printing out more and then I'm going to start trying to really promote the comic, get it out there.

SO the actual graduation is on saturday, I'll be doing a speech and I'm pretty nervous about it.
I'm actually nervous and sad about this entire graduation thing. I don't think I'm ready to leave the school, it's been a hard but great two years.

Plus I've ate a lot of pizza.

Thesis Cover and Thesis exhibit!!!

I'm really excited to see this done, I'll be turning in the copies soon, and then I have more copies to print to give out to friends and others!

on the Center for Cartoon Studies mainpage is this image from my thesis, to promote the thesis exhibition, from May 17th-June 21st, at the Colodny Building in downtown historic White River Junction.

I'm feeling good, but tired. I'm eating pancakes tomorrow at Jason Lute's house, I'm excited about it.

In other news WRIF went really well last weekend. Other than that I'm just stressed about finishing everything.

I just finished inking the last page of my thesis! My hands are covered in ink.

Still to do:
clean up and spot black 5 pages on the computer
draw, ink, computer, and color the cover, back cover, and interior covers
indesign the whole book

WRIF and comics

So next weekend is the White River Indie Film Fest. It's gonna be three days of good movies and panels. I'm the events manager, and looking forward to it, even though it's a lot of work and stress right as I'm trying to finish my thesis.

We're reaching the final stretch. I got no time to do anything else but finish my thesis, so I'm spending my time writing blogs.

I just watched the latest episode of Lost, it was awesome.
Alec Longstreth was at CCS yesterday, he gave three presentations, he kicked some ass.
I played some poker, I got my ass kicked.
